About the Parish Council
Little Stanney & District Parish Council is the most local tier of government, serving the rural communities of Croughton, Little Stanney, Stoak and Wervin in Cheshire West.
The Council meets regularly throughout the year to discuss local matters, represent residents, and work with Cheshire West and Chester Council on issues affecting the parishes. All meetings are open to the public.

The Parishes
The council serves four parishes in the rural north of Cheshire West. Each has its own distinct character and history, united by a shared commitment to preserving and improving their local environment and community life.
- Croughton — a small rural hamlet adjoining the M56.
- Little Stanney — a quiet residential village with a strong community spirit.
- Stoak — home to the historic Church of St Lawrence, dating from the 12th century.
- Wervin — a scattered rural community between Chester and Ellesmere Port.
